I had been racing in Sheffield all week & was very tired as i had to keep training through the races too but i did ok & got a couple of small PB's, a British Record & was the fastest person in the World to swim the 200m freestyle so although exhausted i was pleased with the results
My mum was so excited about going to Wimbledon neither of us has watched tennis played live & we had the best view of centre court from the Royal box.
We left Sheffield really early in the morning to get to Wimbledon in time for lunch & it was amazing!
When we arrived we were looked after so well & everyone introduced themselves to us, they got us drinks to take onto the balcony which overlooked the outdoor courts. It was such a lovely view in the sunshine.
We then went through to the dinning area for lunch where we were served 3 courses of the most yummy food. I had a fillet of beef for my main course & i am very fussy about how it is cooked but it was perfect, i loved it! For dessert i chose strawberries, they were the biggest, juiciest, tastiest strawberries i have ever had.
It was a really special day as it was London 2012 Gold medalists & their guests in the Royal box plus it was Servicemen's day so Sue Barker did a really nice introduction of us all to the crowds on centre court.
While we sat in the Royal box big champagne buckets of sweets were passed around all day, there were blankets under our seats in case we got cold & sun hats to wear when the sun came round in the afternoon. There was nothing that hadn't been thought of.

Sabine Lisicki - Samantha Stosur
Norvak Djokovic - Jeremy Chardy
Serena Williams - Kimiko Date-Krumm
The points were really confusing and even by the end of the day i still didn't really understand them but i knew who was winning & was amazed at how hard & fast they hit the balls. The crowds were fantastic & everyone joined in doing Mexican waves, it was so much fun.
We were really spoiled and spent the day with some amazing people who i really admire & i was very lucky to meet them all.
Afternoon tea was so good......anyone that knows me knows that i love cake & chocolate, there was so much to choose from & they all tasted so good!!
As the evening went on canapes were served but Strawberries, Champagne & lots of other goodies were available the whole day.
As we left we were all given presents & i cannot thank Wimbledon enough, me & my mum had a really special day together!
